About Marisol Maciel-Cervantes


I recently completed my Master’s degree in the Geographic Information Science and Technology (GIST) program at the University of Southern California, while also writing blogs about urban planning issues relevant to the Los Angeles metropolitan area. In addition, I hold a Master of Planning degree with a concentration in sustainable land use planning from the University of Southern California. I also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ethnic Studies and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Past work experience includes providing consulting services for Coalition for Responsible Community Development, serving as an Intern at Southern California Association of Governments and T.R.U.S.T. South LA. During my free time, I enjoy watching soccer, dancing, listening to music, reading, and traveling.
